I do love a pom-pom, and a faux fur pom-pom will only make my hats better.Tweet
The Tobias blanket is named after my Great-Grandfather Tobias, his nickname was Bias. Bias, the word word can mean something very specific, as in having bias, well, knitters it’s entirely different. Knitting on the bias is used for many different garments, I am partial to the blanket…just love the ease and watching it grow.
Using two colours and some scrap yarn from Madeline Tosh, I created a two tone square…many squares. Only one different to break up the pattern. I would say an advanced beginner would have no problems.
Perfect for the modern Mom and baby. Then again I am bias…Tweet
Some of the WIP’s I am currently working on, not counting the designs I am writing too.
This is the Pacific Sweater from We are Knitters. How I love this knit and think it the best beach sweater or bathing suit cover-up! It is a gift and I would like to give it to my friend, Traci, before Christmas,ha!
Next is my granny square baby blanket, I am making for another friend. Baby is due any minute!
Ahhhh my Minky pullover-over, made with this beautiful mink yarn, sadly this yarn is no longer available. So luxurious, I am looking forward to fall just for this sweater!
Last but not least, another baby baby blanket gift. I hope to get it to baby Conrad before college graduation. This is a Churchmouse design the lovely and easy Picot-Edge Baby Blanket & Washcloth.
Clearly, I need to crack that WIP!
New Pattern release today, meet Granny on the Hudson! I took inspiration from the famed Hudson Bay blanket, using crochet granny stripes and changing the colour stripe pattern. I used RaincityKnits a local yarn dyer , I love the rain city because of the rich & bright colours they produce! Get it free on Ravelry and Craftsy
